hig's Upcoming events & efforts
We're making Sweet Cases! Sweet Cases are duffel bags for foster children that are decorated and filled with a teddy bear, hygiene kit, and blanket. Most children entering foster care receive just two trash bags for their belongings, but they deserve more! HIG is pulling together a team of philanthropic people to help us decorate and distribute a minimum of 50 duffel bags for children across the United States.

We're helping to make dreams of Disney Days come true! Disney Days is an outstanding effort that reunites siblings that have been separated by foster care for a day at Disneyland in Anaheim, California. Through our partnership with Together We Rise, we will be supporting this life changing experience for foster children across the United States.

Question: Can I donate to a specific cause?
Answer: Of course! Donations can be made to support our efforts in general, or they can be specialized to support one or more of our specific programs or a *cause of your choice. See our Donation section below for Donation Specification details. Please contact us if you have any further questions.
*Causes must be vetted and approved by Humanity Investment Group's Charitable Recipients Review Team
Question: How do I sign up my child for the Junior Philanthropists in Action (JPA) program?
Answer: JPA efforts are primarily coordinated through various schools, community centers and churches. However, special groups can be formed outside of those entities. Please contact us directly to discuss your child's participation, or if you are interested in registering a new JPA youth group.
Question: How does someone sign-up or make a referral for the L.E.A.P. program?
Answer: Please contact us directly for L.E.A.P. referrals and intake.
Question: How can I make a recommendation for a recipient of your "Win-Win Situation" fundraising efforts?
Answer: Anyone can nominate a cause (e.g. Breast Cancer, Sickle Cell, Children with Disabilities, Homeless Veteran Support) an individual, or a family for review and selection. Our Charitable Recipients Review Team will make the final selections on a monthly basis. Once approved, all selected nominees will be placed in a lottery for final selection. Any approved nominations that have yet to be selected will be included in the following months' lottery.
PLEASE NOTE: HIG Members have the benefit of doubling and tripling their lottery chances for selection. As a member, you can even nominate yourself or your own cause (approval process still applies).
