I was once a little girl who used to gaze out of the back seat window with tears streaming down my face, as I watched people suffer from various deficits. Over the years, I found myself daydreaming about ways that these people in need could be helped. Unfortunately, so many of my thoughts and dreams remained just that - an empathetic little girl's vision for a better world. As I grew older, of course I would naturally help others, either through personal acts of kindness or through the various professional hats I've worn over the years. At times, my smile would brighten at the difference that I had made in the lives of many. But that still wasn't enough. My reach needed to be further and more impacting. In October of 2018, by way of epiphany, Humanity Investment Group, Inc. was born. The thought popped into my mind, as if it was a file being uploaded into my brain. At that moment, I knew that it was time to take those imaginative daydreams of my younger self and integrate them with the valuable knowledge gained and connections made over the years.
The beautiful revelation in that moment was realizing that I am not alone in this quest. Discovering the vast number of people and organizations dedicated to making the same kind of impact that I've dreamed of has been astonishing and heart-warming. I was clear that my responsibility is to identify innovative ways to combine forces with these local and global heroes in an effort to accomplish our shared goals. Working diligently behind the scenes, I am proud to say that the Humanity Investment Group has already created a momentum of meaningful change in the lives of many...and this is only the beginning.
